Post by camodup » Fri Jan 15, 2010 12:45 pm

So im lookin into gettin a new elk bugle. And im really not sure exactly what one to get, and i wanna get one thats gonna produce great sound, and not put a hole in my wallet, but i am willing to spend alittle more if its neeed on it.

Any suggestions?

I own all of the primos bugles and use all of them. It depends on what kind of hunting you do. Do you cover a lot of country and bivy hunt or stay in a big camp and not travel much? That will help us suggest some because of size, packability, convenience, and sound quality.

I would suggest the Primos Pack Bugle. It is small lite weight and it had good sound for what it is. Plus it uses the same reeds as all the other Primos Bugles so if one day you decide to get another Primos Bugle you will already have the hang of using it. I hope that helps.
