lifetime?

so someone recently told me that swarovskis come with a lifetime waranty. is this true? Is it for the lifetime of the product or just for the original purchaser? like if i bought my friends 10x42's would they still be warrantied??? do any other brands do this??

Well I know some lifetime warranties only cover the original owner, I don't know about Swarovski though.
