Muzzle Brake

Post by JimmyB » Mon Feb 23, 2015 12:44 am

I'm wanting to put a muzzle brake on my tikka t3 300 win mag. Does anyone know where I could get this done? Preferably around Salt Lake, Ogden, or Utah County? My buddy had a custom one made for his .300 wsm tikka t3 done by some guy around Provo who was a retired machinist but doesn't have any of the guys info. But the guy did great work! Anyone know this guy by chance?

Call around to a few gunsmiths in the area and see if they can help. I'm sure you'll find one or two who knows this fella that did your buddy's rifle.
It ain't the size of the gun but the placement of the bullet.

The best brake is a Vais. You can send it to them, and they'll install it. Google Vais Muzzle Brake.

I had a guy in Plain City fabricate and install mine and it looks and shoots great.
