Swarovski American Scopes.

Post by 30Ultra » Sat Mar 22, 2008 8:16 am

Are the Swarovski American scopes built in Austria, or are they assembled somewhere else? I would hate to put over $1,000 into a scope for Elk & Muledeer to find out it is not a true Swarovski. I don't want to change the mounts on the 300 Ultra to 30mm, so I was thinking about the American 1" tube Swaro. My 1"rings and bases are rock solid, dead nuts, aligned and lapped, and I don't want to take them off. If the Swaro American is a "cheaper" version of the famed Swarovski line, I will just continue on with the VXIII. Thanks much,30Ultra.

Be carefull of fakes. Austrian Swaros have better glass in them than the cheapo's.
