Best Camo for Utah? And favorite camo's?

Post by #1DEER 1-I » Fri Aug 07, 2009 5:52 pm

Was wondering what you think is the best camo for Utah overall mostly in the higher country, but the best camo to work in more places. Then whats your favorite camo/camo brand? I will have to say favorite brand: Mossy Oak, Favorite camo: Mossy Oak Break Up, Most durable camo for Utah in my opinion: Advantage Max-1.

My overall faorite camo for hunting Utah is King's Mountain Shadow. It still has sage in it with some timber patterns as well. Very versatile for hunting Utah and is by far my favorite pattern because of it versatility. If I am hunting lower country then I like the Max-1 and King's Desert shadow of course but they just aren't as versitile.

I just ordered some PREDATOR camo. Not a big fan of most you listed there, just my opinion. But Advantage Max -1 is the best out of your choices IMO.

In my opinion most of what you listed is what I call "Eye Candy Camo" or your "redneck go out on a date in your camo best", I personaly use ASAT and love the stuff, if I was buying new camo I would either buy it again or the predator. But that is JMO.

The next camo I am going to buy is Multi-Cam. This pattern was looked at by the army then passed over when they switched to their current pattern. Its a great blend of natural colors and will blend in all enviroments. Its starting to become more popular and easier to get ahold of, also you can get it in a BDU cut.

+1! Sometimes I will mix and match simultaneously use the max1 pants and HD type top. That seems to fit best with my area where the sage quickly blends into the quakies.
