Rino Radio Quality

Post by Loafer » Tue Oct 27, 2009 4:14 pm

I got a 520 before the hunts this year and it is the best gps system I've used. The features are numerous and easy to us. My only complaint is sometimes the radio quality is less then desired. Does anyone have any tips or tricks they have used to get better qualty radio transmissions out of these?

I think there's an option to buy an FCC license that increases range to like 10 miles+.

I've always loved my 120. Although there is one mountain we hunt on that must have something wierd in the rock because there are places where you can be 200yds away from someone and not be able to talk to them. Then ya take 2 steps and they come in good.
Just remember they call it hunting not finding. It's all about the stories.
