I use the Meindl Perfekt boots. Mine are 9 years old. I've resoled them once. I wear them everyday, and scout, hunt, hike the Rockies at least 300 days a year. The construction of the boot is still perfect, and expect to get another 9 years out of them. Best boots i've worn, and the only ones i've seen recommended by a Podiatrist. The first day I bought them I went on a 7 mile hike, and they were completely comfortable. They're still 100% waterproof too.
