MULEY CONFUSION
Hello everyone this is how the quest usually starts when I start the process of trying to get ready for another long time dream to hunt a animal that I have only dreamed about hunting. If you look at my post on roll call you can see that I have been blessed to have saved enough to accomplish several hunts and believe me I am not rich I am just a maintenace man. But to the point I have never seen so much confusion at least confusing to me about one animal. But I hope the more I learn the less confusing it will get. I would like to do a diy hunt (to keep cost down) some where that has over the counter tags if possible? My hope would be to get a chance at maybe a 160'' plus Muley again I am new at this and maybe you all just think I have bumbed my head? please help
Re: MULEY CONFUSION
Your best bet now is probably to look at Colorado left-over tags. You won't be able to get the "best" units, but you should be able to find a unit that you could find a 160" buck on.
Re: MULEY CONFUSION
Its not an over the counter tag... but is pretty close.
NV has there second draw and still has over 500 tags left for the Ruby's. Good chance you could pick one of those up as well

The right thing to do and the hard thing to do are usually the same thing

Hate to add competition to the AZ draw, but the deadline for the AZ fall deer application is June 11th. There are plenty of places in AZ with 160" class mulies. DIY is the way to go, but you need to do some scouting to find them.

Re: MULEY CONFUSION
I post on several forums about my hunts and help with info as much as i can.But when it comes to Muley i am not in Muley country and have just never hunted the animal so dont have alot to say that is why i WAS asking for help. Feels like some one left a window open in here sure is cold. Just not the kind of hunters I am used to dealing with most will go out of their way to help. So i booked a hunt for hog and predator in Texas. I guess i will have too save up and pay someone to take me on a Muley hunt. I am sure i will get blasted but the truth is the truth.

Perhaps this post (link below) may help a you a bit? You have a total of 6 posts, 5 of which is on this thread alone. Perhaps a little more participation may yield some better results. Also, you never really stated what weapon you use (rifle, muzz, archery). A few more specifics in your post(s) may generate better responses in the future.
