Colorado Unit 67

Post by loco4muleys » Tue Oct 15, 2013 11:56 am

Long time lurker, first time poster (in a while, anyways).

I'm going to be hunting 3rd season deer in Unit 67 in Colorado (just south of Gunnison). Is anyone familiar with that area? I've talked with some biologists and game wardens, but any input from y'all would be welcome.
One does not hunt in order to kill; one kills in order to have hunted.

I had a buddy that hunted it on the muzzleloader hunt last fall. He killed a decent 5x5. He said there were a ton of deer, he'd just get on a high point and glass most of the day.

We'll like you last year Loco4muleys I'm new to this forum and am hoping you could provide an update on unit 67. How'd it go for you?

I'm a CO resident and looking to put in for the 3rd season muley tag but hesitant to hear if it's worth it. Any info you could share would be much appreciated. I have enough pref pts to draw but am exploring between 4 tags/units to put in for in CO right now.

Thanks!
