1st Mule Deer hunt!!!!!!!
Looking for any help to point me in the right area for a mule deer . Not looking for a monster just a good chance of seeing alot of animals . i live in louisiana so i have to travel no matter what but i would like to stay in the states. this will be for the 2015 season an i only want to DIY hunt . thanks for any help ...

You will need to do a bit of research to find which units you can draw a tag with zero preference points as Colorado is draw only state wide for deer. You might also want to consider looking into land owner tags, though they will more than likely cost you a few dollars more. Left over tags are more miss than hit but still an option.

Not sure what your weapon preference is but alot of the western states offer over the counter or leftover archery tags. With a little work and some luck you'll have a chance at a good buck.
