Wow, I've seen a few other pictures of this floating around since the weekend, but this is confirmation!

Tell me about it... I would have to pinch myself if I saw that in the field, after I pulled the trigger! I saw somewhere else it's the biggest killed in more than 30 years.

I've been told that the wet summer and lots of feed was going to help antler growth this year, but that's just rediculous!

Then again, there is always that one that that is just bigger than the area should have.

I'd love to know where something like this was taken. Truly a MONSTER buck by any count!
It ain't the size of the gun but the placement of the bullet.

One taken in AZ 2 weeks ago that unofficially nets 298+" non-typical, and grosses well over 300" by 3 scorers, but has to wait for the drying period to be re-scored officially. I have seen photos, and it is insane!!! No guided hunt either, a DIYer. And not from the Strip or the Kaibab either.

It's a pretty cool buck, tons of trash going everywhere. The AZ buck is pretty sweet too, killed out in the desert somewhere in Southern AZ. Not many bucks hit the 300'' mark these two and one from the Strip in 08 are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head.
