Vernon unit

Post by clintonias67 » Sat Dec 13, 2014 2:08 am

Hi I am new here. Big surprise... someone is asking about Vernon unit :) looks like I would auto draw this archery tag next year. Does anyone wanna give me a little help or hold out for the Henries ? Close to home so would be fun and easy to scout.

Thanks Clint

The Vernon unit offers a good chance to see a lot of nice bucks but it is hard to find very many huge bucks. It has a lot of open country for spot and stalk and surprisingly has a lot of water out there.

It all depends on how any points you have. If your gonna hold out for the Henry you better have 13+points or it might be a long wait.

Very true but the question is... How long are you willing to wait for that tag?
