Good to hear...
The comments to the story are comical. Take a second and read through them.

now we just need a list of who is offering the bounty. I know my county does not

Time for me to look into getting a new coyote rifle to pack around with me while scouting this year.
There's always next year

So apparently only 12 of the 29 counties offer the bounty. How do we find out which 12? And get the other counties on board??
Re: Coyote Bounty Increase Approved - Utah
I'm surprised that it isn't coverd state wide.
I guess that we only have a coyote problem in 12 countys. Who would have thought?
The state legislator at its best.

I can't wait to read the reply by CoyoteLJ. We started a conversation about this a little bit ago in the Coyote Hunting section, and he has done a ton of research on the topic. Let's just say he opposes the idea. There is a lot to think about, especially in regards to keeping people honest. I agree something needs to be done, but I'm not sure if I agree with the bounty. Think about how many people are going to run out and get any (and all) call(s) and go blasting them everywhere. There will be some serious educating going on. Makes hunting a tough, smart, critter even harder.
