Daughter's first kill

Post by gizmo1 » Sun Jun 03, 2012 9:08 pm

=D> My daughter killed her first animal. she shot it with my model 70 .308 from 130 yards. it was a 1 shot kill and she folded it. it was pretty awesome. i managed to pick off two more that night.

Very nice! It looks like you're getting plenty of target practice.

Congrats! Good target practice. Good meat in the freezer. But most importantly, good times spent, and good lessons learned! Keep up the good work!

pretty cool! how do they taste? Do you turn them into bacon and sausage?

instead of buying a pig every year, I've been wanting to go to california and shooting one, But I'm not sure if they would be the same eating?

still great you got your daughter on one :thumb

They taste great depending upon what they eat. We are surrounded by agriculture so they taste pretty good. They can be not so whoopy if they are just eating whatever they can scavage.
