Crocodile hunt in Australia

Post by elklover » Thu Jun 14, 2012 5:48 am

Australia is considering a plan to allow the hunting of saltwater crocodiles, officials said , with the controversial idea being thrown open for public comment. ::wel

The federal government rejected a similar proposal several years ago on the grounds that it was not appropriate, but has agreed to revisit the issue as crocodile numbers soar. :-k

I have friends that live in the down under, to say Crocs are over populated is an understatement. My friend owns cattle, and crocs do to cattle in Australia what wolfs do to livestock in Idaho, at least in the area he resides. But instead of the 3 s system we know of there's is shoot, sink, and crud up. :))

That sounds like some fun to me. I have a buddy that has done a croc hunt in Africa and it was a pretty wild experience.
