Spring Steelies

Post by Springville Shooter » Mon Mar 22, 2010 11:14 am

Just got back from the Salmon River and a great weekend of spring steelhead fishing. I've got a serious case of tennis elbow from reefing in some nice fish. Caught a lot of wild fish that got turned back and still ended up with 11 nice hatchery fish for the old smoker. The metal bridge is 48" across, so you can see that almost every fish is 24"+. Gotta love it, makes coming back to work hard too.-----shooter

You had to mention the smoker. It sounds sooo good! Congrats on a great fishing trip.

Good luck, and if you don't get into the fish, give me a call if you want some pointers.-----shooter
