Caught a Couple Pigs

Postby waspocrew » Thu Oct 18, 2012 6:20 pm

My FIL took my wife and I out to one of his favorite little lakes in SE Idaho a few weeks ago. He has fished this lake many times and knows right where to troll and what lure works best and I couldn't believe how great the fishing was! We had our limit of 2 fish each fairly quickly and came back with 6 rainbows. The smallest of which was 17". These are the 2 I came home with:

Rough measure was around 23 and 24 inches on them.

Nice fatties! Congrats!
It ain't the size of the gun but the placement of the bullet.

Thanks! They looked liked salmon fillets once we cleaned them and they tasted awesome! I'm itching to go fishing up there before it freezes over.
