fish stolen off my line

Post by Coloradobuck » Mon Aug 10, 2015 1:09 am

so i went fishn the other day. slow day not much biting, then BOOM big hit big fight. after about 2 minutes of fighting my line has a nasty violent tug and snap. in total disbelief and pure anger i seen a creature hop on the opposite bank with a 16 in brown in its fury paws. then as i am staring this evil beast down he rips my brand new blue fox spinner out of the fishes mouth and spits it in the water and carries it up into the bushes. after about 3 more minutes it emerges from the bushes and i was able to snap a quick picture of this rare majestic jerk of a beast. and now because of this incident i now hate river otters. HA!

I've had sharks do the same thing and even had a snake take fish off my stringer before. First I've ever heard of an otter doing something like that!
It ain't the size of the gun but the placement of the bullet.
