Post by MULEY7MM » Mon Dec 24, 2007 10:36 am

was a little un sure where i wanted to go today we ended up getting to scofield at around 10:30 after a rough night we fished there for about two hours and had a few bites but nothing else so we headed down to huntington as soon as we got the ice shack set up my 7 year old had a fish hooked after a short fight he lost it at the hole so i rebated him up and put his pole down i turned around to sit down and he was screaming he had another one he got that one landed and next it was my 5 year old to follow in his foot steps i let them catch all the fish and they had fun ill post some pics latter the biggest was 17" and the smallest was 14" all tiger trout

Sweet catch! FINALLY caught my first Tiger Trout (got a couple now) the past 3 months and I was thinking if I could get some snowmobiles and get up somewhere I think I could really nail 'em in the ice - Just curious though, what were you using to catch them with there? I don't know a whole lot about ice fishing, haha, so any info or details would do wonders for me. Again, congrats! These are by far my favorite target right now in Utah.

I was using tube jigs with whole minnows if you are after tiger trout go to BC,huntington, scofield, palasades those are your best bets but huntington by far is the best if all you want is tigers
