My dad and I went on a trip for a couple days and caught some nice fish.

These are from the first day.

Very nice, I caught 4 pretty browns and a rainbow just last night on the Sevier River. But forgot my dang camera. Those Brown Trout are a BLAST.

These are from the second day at a different lake. They were caught on power bait and we had to keep the smaller ones cause they swallowed the hook.

Looks like a great fishing trip for you and your dad!

Oh, and you can let the little ones go even if they swallow the hook. You just need to cut the line as close to the mouth and let them swim off. The hook will corrode away over time and will cause no harm to the fish.

That is, unless they are bleeding from the gills when you bring them in. Then you will have to keep them.
It ain't the size of the gun but the placement of the bullet.

The two small ones were bleeding pretty bad when we got them in. We tried to get them to recoperate but they weren't doing to well.

That's a nice batch of fish. Not a bad thing, keeping a few for the pan.
