heres some pics of me and mine out on the betty kay on a bottom fishing trip.. we had a blast..and my daughter out fished the boys...

great day, my son didnt take to the ocean well but he was a trooper, my daughter caught the biggest out of the three of us, and the most, we ended up with all three limits caght ourselves, all blues and blacks, unfortunately no lings but hey it was a blast...
lifes short, enjoy it while ya have it

oh i've been in your sons shoes, nothing as bad as sea sickness :>/ :>/

as far as being outfished, well that happens to me all the time too, when it comes to teaching my kids how to fish, i hope they listen to their mom lol

I've always loved bottom fishing. You never know what you might catch and odds are there is something down there bigger than you!

Congrats to your daughter for whupping up on the boys!

Great pictures! It sure looks like everyone had a blast even though your son got a little queezy. I feel your sons pain! On a troop carrying vessel one year we hit the edge of a typhoon near japan and talk about feeling horrible! Never lost it though.

Nice catch! Sometimes I wish I was closer to salt water fishing!
