Daughters Wyoming Antelope

Post by awholelottabull » Fri Oct 12, 2007 12:59 am

My 15 year old daughter took this Wyoming speed goat after a 100 yard belly crawl and a 180 yard shot. She had ice in her veins with a 50 mph cross wind. 2 bucks and about 20 does were running around in front of us. They were rutting hard and wouldn't hold still very long. A very neat hunt for a special young lady. He's a little bloody after rolling around in his own blood before he died. I don't think I've seen an animal bleed that much before. It came out of him like someone turned on a garden hose. Enjoy.

Congrats to your daughter on a mighty fine buck! =D>
It ain't the size of the gun but the placement of the bullet.

180yds in a 50mph wind is a tough shot.

Great looking buck. You're right though, that thing must have leaked oil pretty bad when she whacked it! Covered from head to tail!
