Archery Antelope

Post by Avs man » Wed Jul 16, 2008 11:33 pm

Got an over the counter archery antelope tag, Looking at area 1, 161 and a few others, Im asking for opinions on these areas or others I plan to hunt with a blind and decoy, I like public land but am willing to ask landowners for this tag because most dislike antelope and are not too affraid of archery tackle, thanks in advance for any help.

I mostly hunt them on the Eastern plains but if you ask for permission you may be suprised on how much easier it is to get on a ranch with a Bow than a rifle.

thanks for the info, Im thinking about turning the tag back in, price of fuel, time off and money are getting tighter and Im not sure I want to waste my time on this tag being that its going to be so far from home. I havent decided yet, I hope I change my mind and just put forth the effort and go kill another goat.

You can turn a tag back in and get a refund?! Arizona would laugh in your face if you asked for that....

Avs man, I have an otc archery antelope tag also. I have been scouting around unit 50 and 58. They have two of the top harvest numbers for archery otc units.
