On my Soap Box

Post by M.Bird » Sat Sep 17, 2011 9:55 pm

Ok I have been nice but I will pull out the “Soap Box”: :tz
Set up to do the reloading for fall: got the cases prepped, have the powder and primer but need bullets.
Down to the store (Exit 4 in Reno) and buy the bullets, 6 boxes: 2 box .308, 2 boxes .243 and
2 Boxes .224, this should get me past Turkey day.
I am very anal about my reloading; every thing is in groups of 50.
.308 short 3 bullets
.243 short 4 bullets
.224 68gr short 1
.224 60gr over 1
5 out of the 6 boxes are short: So I got on the company’s web site and sent them a letter letting them know that there quality control program is slipping. I know everything is packed by weight, but they have a problem.
Will post the results of the letter:
I am off the “Soap Box now” ($$)

Wow that is unsat right there. I would be mad too! I am interested to see how they respond.

I would be a little angry as well! Especially due to the cost! Makes me want to go and count that new box of bullets I just bought....
