My grandfather has given me all his reloading equipment & has an older reloading manual. I'd like to get an up to date manual with new bullets, powders, etc...

Which manual is the best, most comprehensive?

What Maker of Truck do you like best, Dodge, Chevy, Ford
All the manuals out today are safe to use the data from,
Speer, Sierra, Nosler, plus the internet

I'd suggest getting more than one. The first I had was the Hornady manual and it only list info on their bullets. I picked up the Lyman's the other day and like it, but not discounting Hornady's. I'll probably pick up one or two others before I actually start to reload, just to cross reference between them all.

I'v found Lyman's to be useful and I have a Hodgedon manual as well. Lately I've been picking up caliber specific manuals which are really handy as they contain info from most bullet and powder companies.

Try www.reloadersnest.com in the rifle section under .300 Savage. I get tons of information for starting points for my reloading chores.
