I've lived here in Anchorage now over 20 years. I do a bit of part time guiding. I'd like to hunt Muledeer with my dad somewhere in the western states in exchange for Caribou or black bear here in Alaska. Let me know if your interested. There is a good chance at a wolf while hunting Caribou. Lots of hunting photos on request.

1st, you should post here more often. super cool pics!

2nd, if you were interested in elk hunting, i would be interested. but i'm afraid in this state,(oregon) you either need quit a few points, or the deer hunting is pretty dizmal.(sp??)

Depending on all that takes place with my discharge from the military next January and finding work and school I may be interested. I will be in my home state of Utah.
Of course with all the changes coming in 2012 for the state Deer hunting is could make it more difficult to draw a tag.

What kind of Mule Deer hunt are you looking at as far as country and style of hunt?

Hey guys, I'm just looking for a fun hunt to do with my old man. He's in great shape and walking long distances isn't a problem. We don't really care about the terain. Brush country or long distance shooting across canyons is fine with us. Like I said it's just about spending time with my pop doing something he's always wanted to do. We aren't even opposed to hunting off a landowner tag if the price isn't to high. Same goes with size, we wouldn't pass a booner but we'd be happy with nice solid bucks. I know there is some good across the counter hunting on indian reservation if a guy knows where to go. Like I said we're open minded.

man i hope you wake up and thank God every morning for everything. you have had some outragous hunting sucess in some awesome looking country. oneday i hope i get to come up there for the views!

Just back from a quick trip out with the wife. We floated out after hunting. Great trip and shot a nice bull. Could have shot several more but passed. Leaving this weekend to take friends out for caribou.
