Hunt unit 11

So I drew my first elk tag this year and cant wait till Oct. I picked unit 11 which includes 12,13,23,24,25,26,33,34,131,211 and 231.Has anyone tried this area and if so what are some of your recommendations as for areas and what to expect?

There's few elk in the lower elevations until it dumps quite a lot of snow so plan on being up high. Units 23, 24 in the higher spots (Flattop Road off Rt. 13 just above Meeker) is good but it's all usually crowded. There's a big herd though. Unit 34 has some good high country hunting if you have horses or like to backpack.
