UNIT 751 ARCHERY

HELLO EVERYONE ME AND MY FRIEND ARE GOING UP TO COLORADO THIS YEAR TO HUNT ELK IN UNIT 751. I LIVE IN ARIZONA AND NEVER BEEN TO CO AND WITH WORK CANT FIND TIME TO GO SCOUT WE WILL LEAVE A FEW DAYS EARLY TO TRY AND GET A LAY OUT OF THE LAND. IF ANY ONE HAS ANY EXPERIENCE HERE IT WOULD BE GREAT TO HERE FROM YOU IF ITS NEGATIVE OR POSITIVE OR JUST WHAT YOU THINK OF THE UNIT WE WILL TRY AND STAY AROUND THE VALLECITO LAKE AREA DOWN TO BAYFIELD.THANK YOU FOR READING AND HAVE A GREAT HUNTING SEASON THIS YEAR. :thumb

My partner and I are hunting muleys there second season. 2011. If I find out anything useful as to elk I will post it. Bulls are a second thought so we don't have to go home if we tag out early.

Bayfield is all private land!! Then south of that u have the rez.There will be alot of hunters for sure up by the lake.I would try to move more east like devil mtn. in that area atleast u will see more game then people. It just a thought I only live in the area!! :)
