elk hunting

Postby Bobby Ratliff » Mon Jun 04, 2012 10:59 am

Just drew a Utah La Sal unit early elk hunt. I am searching for any info that would be of help. What to expect on weather conditions, good area to start scouting, etc. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Bobby

Are you looking for a guide or outfitter or just general information?

Was looking for general information, but would be open for a semi guided hunt or something to that nature. Let me know if you have any suggestions. I live in Texas and will be bringing my 34 year old son to help with the hunt. We are both experienced hunters and probably have most equipment needed. THANKS, Bobby

I'm going to move your thread over the the elk hunting section so that it will get more traffic and hopefully you can find what you are looking for.
