Idaho Elk Hunt
Idaho Elk Hunt
I just wanted to show off some pictures from my elk hunt last year. These are definetly not Utah bulls, but they are pretty good bulls to come from Idaho. We had the first three bulls down within 300 yards of each other, right as the sun cresting the hills. We spent a lot of time patterning these bulls and everything worked out perfectly for once unlike the last week. I am holding my buddies bull in the one. The last bull is our other friends bull which he got the week after we got the first 3 bulls. It is a way sweet bull with the drop ball and freak points. We went 4 for 4 in our group. It was a great year. After applying for 10 years for an elk I finally had the chance and this bull was my first. Oh and the finally picture is the shed I spotted from where my bull went down, it was the only place you could see the shed from.

Wow congrats big time, that photo with all 3 bulls together is very cool. And dang nice shed also.
I like the 'freak' bull also.

Funny thing about the freak bull, is that club as dark as it is I assumed was rubbed on pines and smelled like pines. But after I smelt it I am pretty sure he used it to scratch himself. Good thing I just had to smell it.
