My 14 yr old sons trophy

Took my son on his first elk hunt last week and he shot this trophy bull. Hunted with Lone Tom Outfitting out of Meeker, Co. on public land (Flat Tops). Gary Von Schmidt was guiding us we we run up on this monster... 320 yd shot. :thumb

Please don't shoot the little ones... we need them to get bigger and grow up big and strong.

wow... every elk season from here on out may be a dramatic disappointment for the young lad.

that poor kid doesn't have a chance :) how in the heck will he top that one in his long hunting life ahead of him? very cool of you to take him on a hunt!
