What would you guys do??
Hey guys! So I wasn't drawn for any of my tags for CO....but no way is that going to stop me from hunting this fall! Just wondering what everyone else who didn't draw is doing? What would you guys recommend as far as OTC archery opportunities?
Thanks to all involved with this site, it is a great resource for hunting enthusiasts, both rookies and seasoned vet's!

For?
Of course CO has a ton of OTC opp's, as Wyoming also has left-over tags for most species...Then there's NE and SD depending on what your after!

Elk? Deer?
Utah, Arizona & Colorado all have over-the-counter tags for elk
Remaining Utah Archery Deer tags I believe still go OTC after the draw, but will sell the first day available. How far do you want to travel? Midwest Whitetail is OTC

Just a heads up, there are 0 archery deer tags left, unless you are a youth. Sad dayMularcher wrote:Elk? Deer?

Yep this is the second year in a row that the general archery tags have all been slicked up in the draw.
But there are still many options for over the counter tags in many states.

If you want to come out to the East Coast, I can put you on some whitetail and all tags are OTC, and you get 3 buck and 3 doe tags for a pretty reasonable cost.

If it were me, I'd get an OtC archery elk tag. I just don't know what I'd do if I couldn't hunt this year. Probably just sit home and pout :=(
