Not much arrow drop at that distance, eh? lol Congratulations on taking your muley at that distance and thanks for sharing your hunt with us. That's a great accomplishment.

Congrats. I would love to see the video...

At that distance you would almost have to lean back while drawing your bow so you didnt touch the bedded buck with the arrow! lol
The right thing to do and the hard thing to do are usually the same thing

Thats awsome. I've hunted West River over the last 8 years,got some good bucks and had some great times. Seen some Monster Mule deer too.
Probably hit it 2013 if it looks any better.

Nice buck. Lots of SD EHD Whitetails running around with blue tongues this year very sad.

Congratulations! My first bow-killed mule deer was also well under three yards (spot and stalk). The arrow went right through mine and he never even knew he'd been shot. He just walked a few more yards and then laid down, then fell over within a few seconds. It wasn't nearly as exciting as yours if he turned right towards you!
