Just wandering what kind of broadheads do all u guy use. i know everybody has a different take on mechanical versus fixed blade, i myself use a vortex mini-max 3 mech. it works great on whitetail and is super strong. i have taken about 6 whitetail without a single broken blade, i have even shot one throught a steel drum with only slight tip damage.

Rocky Mounatin Snypers. They seem to be great broadheads. The sliding blade system eliminates those deflection shots keeping your bang behind your broadhead. But, they have rubber bands and you know how bowhunters feel about rubbers! Still the sliding blade is what makes it the one for me, a different kind of mechanical!

I started useing Wasp 75gr sst's, but I also use rocket wolverine 3p's

I shoot three blade spitfire 100 grain expandable broadheads.

Well, I use a few different styles and manufacturers depending on what I'm hunting. When I'm hunting deer or bears, I usually use a replaceable blade style heads (Muzzy 3-blade). When I hunt elk or hogs, I use a fixed bladed leading edge head (Magnus or Zwickey 2-blade) for their surperior penetration. They are VERY tough also.

Magnus sent me some Stingers to test this year, so I will be shooting some of those this season. From all indications, this head is awesome. They fly great and hold a good edge.

I forgot to mention in my original post that i also use different heads for elk. I use montec g5.

I use to be a three blade spitfire shooter. I tried the Crimson Talon fixed blade spin-tite heads and will never go back. Shoot like field points with no tuning and are devastating for any animal in N. America. Recently killed a rag horn 5x4 bull elk and got a clean pass through at 19 yards. Awesome broadheads
