So, have you been in the pro shops looking at all the new stuff for 2008? What do you think is the best new stuff for 2008?

I am in love with my new QAD ultra HD LD rest, and my new Spot Hogg Hunter Hogg-It site. Great combination.

The new Bear Truth 2 makes me wipe my chin about every 30 seconds. I don't need a new bow. Heck, I just learned to shoot my Obsession bow. But I dig those dual string suppressors. And if Will Primos says it's good, I gotta have one (Maybe I can get away with buying one next year). lol

Being the speed freak that I am, I like the Martin Firecat too.

G5 has improved there old ME sight and changed the named to XR. I love the idea of 3 fixed pins and one floater. I think I will be picking one of these up.

I WOULD LOOK VERY CLOSELY AT THE G5 WITH THE MOVEABLE 4TH PIN. I HAVE ONE, AND THE PIN RATTLES REALLY BAD. IF YOU SET IT ALL THE WAY UP, FOR INSTANCE AT WHAT COULD BE YOUR 50 YD SETTING, THEN IT'S OK. BUT WHEN YOU MOVE IT DOWN, LETS SAY TO YOUR 70 YD SETTING, IT RATTLES REALLY BAD. IF THEY HAVE FIXED THE PROBLEM, THEN GREAT. BUT WITH MINE, I'M NOT THAT HAPPY WITH IT. I ACTUALLY WENT BACK TO MY SPOTT-HOGG WRAP. CAN NOT FIND ANYTHING BAD WITH IT. BUT COMPARED TO THE G5, IT HAS A VERY SMALL SITE WINDOW. AND IN LOW LIGHT SITUATIONS, THE BIGGER THE WINDOW, THE BETTER. HOPE THIS HELPS.

My shooting partner also did not like the G5 sight once he got it, and went back to the wrapped Spot Hogg.
