:?: I have drawn a tag in unit 2b joining the jicarilla indian res. Is this a decent mule deer place. Any ideas on someone to put us on some deer??? in this unit/??

:x Spent 5 days walking in the carson natl forrest away from the roads in search of some deer no luck, this place is extremely overrated for a quality draw unit!!!

I've bowhunted it several times during the January season. It's an unreal place if you know where to go. Saw my only legitimate 40" buck there about 7 years ago. Contact the warden/biologist for the zone and they can point you in some good areas. (Cathy-505-632-0485 or Pat 505-632-3283) One word of caution, prepare for the cold and prepare to hike into some of the better areas. Good luck.
