yes the meeting was quite long almost 4 hours. they covered things like changing the general seer hunt back to a statewide 9 day hunt. went over the proclamation recomendations. talked about putting a bison herd in the north bookcliffs area.
but the biggest thing of the evening was when uba was presenting a proposal to change the dates of the spike elk hunt to coinside with the any bull dates. some of the members of the rac looked as if they were actually asleep and not paying attention to one single word. it is nice to see that those who are supposed to be listening to the publics voice on wildlife issues really do not give a rats arse about anything that the public has to say. regardless if the idea is really good and has merit or not.
the meeting had the same negative effect on those who attended as the rac that discussed the convention tags a couple of years ago. both of these meetings had the public scratching thier heads as to what side the rac is really on.
