south slope diamond mtn elk

Post by treedagain » Sun Apr 26, 2009 4:47 pm

looks like my wife drew a early tag, any info that you want to share on the early rifle hunt would be appreciated. this will be my wifes 1st elk hunt, not looking for your honey hole, just a point in the right direction. I know there is private land issues. I will trade info for info. I have hunted all over the west and have access to some GOOD private land in northwest UT

thanks Ox, it will be fun for the wife. she has killed some good bucks here in Utah on our deer lease, but we will see how she does when she has to work a little harder to succeed. she is not used to having to wear out any boot leather lol . or roughing it. all in all it should be a good time.
