Post by Bear2 » Fri Jun 12, 2009 9:52 pm

Might anyone on this site know what is the proper torque for nightening the front and rear guard screws on a Remy 700 is? Want to reattach the barreled action to the fiberglass stock. Just bought a Wheeler Eng. Fat Wrench and re-assembling my son 700 after a good cleaning.
Thanks in advance for your responeses.

Everything clean and lightly oiled. Do the front screw first 55 to 60,then the middle 40 to45, then the rear 15 to 20 inch pounds. It's in your manual or on Remington's website. Check it out. Welcome to the forum. ::wel
