question about leupold custom bullet drop compensator

Post by killerbee » Fri Jun 19, 2009 2:55 pm

i could call them, but i'll ask some of you guys first.
can they only put their compensator on a 30mm tube? or can they do it with any tube- just knowing you will have less room for the cross hairs to move.

and can they olny build it for a gold ring or can they put it on any leupold scope? mainly thinking about the VX 5?

thanks

yes
i have a buddy wanting to buy a scope for his 257 wthby. and hes wanting to make sure he can get the custom built turrets for it. BUT he can also get a smoking deal on a VX-5. can he still get those turrets if he buys the VX-5?

I know you need target type turrets. And they can convert a scope without target turrets with target turrets. However it is all just money. I would just call or email customer service or custom shop.

There is also a company called Kenton Industries that make the custom turrets to fit several mfgs scopes but then again you have to have the right type turret.

Tell him to get the big numbers on his turrets so he can read them in the semi darkness or he will be trying to dial and read them when he should be shooting.
