I got cow elk and buck deer as second choice on each with the associated preference points for Unit 12. I couldn't make muzz season this time so I guess I will hunt in the snow up North of Buford. Good luck iwth the smoker.
Any suggestions for unit 12?

I drew a BP deer tag and will be backpack hunting in The Raggeds wilderness, in the Kebler Pass area. A pal of mine is coming out from back east and we're using our flintlocks-I think it's gonna be a real hoot!

I drew a cow elk and buck deer for southwest of the Alamosa area (GMUs 80 & 81). My first time muzzleloading and I cannot wait!
