Well I sure hope you get him !!!

I dropped my son off a area that looked promising .
He saw a lot of Elk but no Deer.
He had a 5 point Bull with cows and a Large 6 point Bull come down by the creek he was hunting. The 6 point cut loose with a bugle only 45 yards away . That was the high light of his trip . :thumb

well i did take a shot at one and im really feelin crappy because we found some blood and it was a good trail and first then it was a couple of drips ever couple of feet and then it was gone. we looked for 5 hours and couldnt find him and now im feeling really crappy about it

That really sucks! I remember how bad I felt when I lost the biggest 4 point I have ever seen but felt just the same when I lost a little 2 point about 10 years earlier.

ya its a crappy feeling and a really bad feeling when its your first deer and you think that you didnt go out to the range and practice enough even though i went every weekend i just feel like theres something i could of done

he was a 2 point but he was 20 inches wide

nothin spectacular but its a sucky feeling losing a deer. how many of you have had this happen to you
