Looking for the best.
I am starting to look into buying a muzzleloader. As with all of my gear I like to research and learn about what I am getting into. I have read the previous posts asking about muzzleloaders so I don't want to duplicate.
I am comparing the Thompson, Knight and White muzzleloaders. This will be used for elk only. In reading about the Knight models the .52 caliber sounds like a good one. I am a rooky when it comes to these things though and would appreciate your thoughts.
Thanks for your help.

Most are using in line guns in .50 Cal
I know here in Cache Valley it hard to find stuff for .52 cal.
None of the sporting good store here sell .52 anymore.
Keep an Eye on your local Walmart . They drop the price on all muzzle loader suplies right now and the gun soon. I bought a .50 T.C. Omega for my oldest son Dec. of last year for $ 109.00 and It was going for $309.00 at Cabala's at the time. I also got a CVA Optima .50 for Cody my youngest son for $78.00. I saved around $ 350.00 on the two guns !!!
