scope for muzzloader
scope for muzzloader
Can i use a rifle scope on my t/c encore muzzloader, or do i need to buy a muzzulooder/shotgun scope.

LittleBuck is right, in most western states you can have no scope. I really like that rule. Colorado a few years back even outlawed inline muzzleloaders because the season is for "primitive weapons". In the south you can use a scope in all the states I know of. The only reason I ever got an inline is because I won it in a raffle. Otherwise, I'd still be hunting with my T/C percussion. The inline shoots much better and out quite a bit further but I still like the idea of using either flintlock or percussion the way our forefathers did. To answer your question, just get a good 4X scope and you'll be good to go.
