cleaning solvent warning!!

Post by skull krazy » Tue Sep 04, 2007 8:32 pm

Beware of "birchwood/Casey" gun cleaning solvent!!
I read all over the can at Cabela's on how it works well on ALL guns and parts, rifles, shotguns muzzleloaders ect ect....so i bought it.
I'll make a long story short...it totally ate and ruined the stock on my brand new Knight Extreme thumbhole stock :>/ :222 ](*,)

No killer, it was a brand new out of the box plastic stock from Knight!
The drippings on the stock resemble "worm trails" in mud.
It reacted like acid!! ](*,)
