Yea Bigbuck, that story had it all! First off, CONGRATS and I cannot wait to see the pics!

Second, the helo story was pretty amusing. Good thing they didn't mistake you for one of the escaped convicts.

Lastly, it's a good thing that you were patient and allowed the old guys to explain themselves! I'm afraid if I was shot at and then turned to see two guys walking toward me with rifles in hand I MAY have started shooting back and asked questions afterward! Glad to hear that they missed ya though!

BB, Good job on your buck. I'm glad you're OK, you'd think they'd have common sense enough to know not to shoot across and road or trail and like you said with a back stop. Did they ever find the fugitives in Manilla. My nephew Bullfrog is stay there in his RV right now, he's working in Rock Springs but Manilla is the closest place he could find for a RV hook up.

See if you'd quit driving so fast you wouldn't run into those flying balls of lead. j/k. That really sucks. Glad your okay. I would have had my pistol out and ready to start shooting too. I'd say the old guy is lucky to be standing upright.

Congrats on your first deer. Mine was a big ol' spike. LOL You could squeeze his antlers and the tips would touch. :)
