Went for a hike last weekend and found a nice big 2 point as well as taking a nice little black bear. You never know what your going to run into out there.

Here is my haul so far this spring. Did pretty well I think considering how hard this area gets hit. I tried some potassium permanganate on a few white ones to see how they would look and was a little dissapointed with the results. They look like they were done with cheap brown paint, you can see in the pic with the three sets. The bottom set has three coats, the middle is natural and the top bigger set has one coat. No matching that beautiful natural brown.

Hey Huntfoot. I am using a Pentax K200D with an older 80-320 pentax zoom. The lens is great right around 200-250 but looses some clarity higher up. Pentax are great hunting fishing cameras as they are sealed very well and have the WR(weather resistant) series of lenses. I am upgrading to a new 400 mm lens as soon as I have a spare $1200 around, so maybe never the way things are these days!
