First Brown

Found my first brown of 2013. I think he probably had a couple more weeks before he shed naturally. Look at the base of the antler in the pic and you will see what I'm talking about. This had to hurt.

Ouch, fresh brown is beautiful thing. I hope to get out eventually and pick one or two up.

That's a big chunk of bone. I've seen spurs of skull still attached before but never like that. Nice find.
