Where you findin elk sheds

I have never found an elk shed. I find muley shed all the time. I see elk too but not big herds or and big bulls. Winter is the only time the elk come around where i go. Some nice bulls too. Below the timber line is where i see them. I could go in the forested parts but it seems pointless because i never see elk in there and it looks like there wouldnt be any there.

It seems like you know where the elk are during the winter......just watch the ones you want the sheds off and you will find them. What part of Idaho you looking for sheds in? I shed hunt all over and find a few elk sheds here and there.....best set so far scores about 300" Best single would go around 130"-140".....more without the broken tine. Found one brown set this year and about 15-20 older elk sheds.....and over 200 deer sheds so far.

Mostly up past arrowrock aways alittle below atlanta. Where you finding all these sheds. Finding a brown pair of elks sheds is awesome i bet.
