I have seen a few bucks in cache national forest area that have dropped one side and I was watching one buck that had no antlers at all just the buds off new growth on his head.

So Utah bucks seem to be stratling the fence. I have seen a considerable amount of bucks with them off, yet there still seems to be some that are still packing both sides (which doesn't suprise me at all). Many people have their opinions of what makes deer drop and I also have my own, but who's to say were all right or worng?! I've seen some decent bucks pack into April, it is rare, but it happens. I did pick up two brown elk horns the other day though, one right off a main road. There had been a considerable amount of traffic through the area, so I consider myself lucky to find a horn that thirty something other guys had driven past! Some times it makes you wonder! The horn had been lying there for over a week, oh well, I am not going to complain about it!! :)
